Bran Muffins
Ingredients
- 5 cups raisin bran
- 3 cups sugar
- 5 cups flour
- 5 tsp. soda
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup oil
- 4 eggs
- 1 quart buttermilk or buttermilk substitute
Directions
- Mix all ingredients well
- Fill 2/3 full in muffin cups (grease bottom of cups)
- Put in oven at 400F for 15-20 minutes
Buttermilk Substitute Ingredients
- 1 cup milk (whole)
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice or vinegar
