Caramel Corn

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. bag of puff corn
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 tbsp. baking soda

Directions

  1. Mix everything except the puff corn and baking soda in a pan
  2. Bring it to a boil and cook for 2 minutes
  3. Once done, add baking soda and mix in
  4. Pour hot mixture over puff corn and mix it all up on a shallow cooking pan
  5. Separate the puff corn as much as possible on the sheet
  6. Bake at 250F for 45 minutes
  7. Every 10-15 minutes, take out of oven and stir it up
  8. Once done, place on waxed paper and break it up
