Ingredients

• 3 cups flour
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 1/3 cup cocoa
• 2 eggs
• 2 tsp. vanilla
• 2 tbsp. vinegar
• 3/4 cup salad oil
• 2 cups cold water
• 1 cup chocolate chips

Directions

1. Sift all solid ingredients and mix together
2. Add mixed solid ingredients to an ungreased 9x13 cake pan
3. Beat eggs
4. Add other liquids to the beat eggs and mix well
5. Combine liquids with solids in cake pan and mix till moist with a few lumps
6. Heat at 350F for 35-40 minutes

Chocolate Frosting Ingredients

• 1 stick of butter
• 1/3 cup cocoa
• 3 cups powder sugar
• 1/2 tsp. vanilla
• 1/3 cup milk

Chocolate Frosting Directions

1. Mix ingredients in a bowl

Vanilla Frosting Ingredients

• 1 cup of butter
• 2 tbsp. milk
• 2 tsp. vanilla
• 4 cups powdered sugar

Vanilla Frosting Directions

1. Mix butter and 2 cups powdered sugar until well blended
2. Add milk and vanilla and blend
3. Add 1 cup powdered sugar and blend
4. Add remaining powdered sugar until blended
5. Whip at high speed
