Ingredients
- 1 quart warm water
- 6 packages dry yeast
- 1 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 6 tbsp. butter
- 7 tbsp. lard
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp. salt
- 2 1/2 tbsp. dry milk
- 13 cups flour
Directions
- Mix warm water, yeast, and smaller measurement of sugar and let sit
- Once yeast dissolves and starts to work, add butter and lard. Mix well
- Add 1/2 of the flour and rest of dry ingredients and mix well
- Continue adding flour until dough can be kneaded
- Knead dough on board with remaining flour spread on board until soft ball of dough, not sticky
- Place in greased bowl, cover and let rise till double in size
- Shape into rolls, place in cooking pan and let double again
- Bake in oven at 400F for 15 minutes
