Ingredients

• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup sour cream
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1/2 tsp. baking soda
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1 tbsp. baking powder
• 3 cups flour

Directions

1. Mix shortening and sugar
2. Add 2 eggs until well mixed
3. Add all ingredients but flour and mix
4. Add flour in slowly
5. One mixed, scoop up dough in #40 cookie scooper
6. Place onto greased cookie sheet
7. Get a 2 inch flat bottom glass
8. Lightly dampen bottom of glass and place into bowl of granulated sugar
9. Flatten each cookie with sugared bottom glass
10. Bake cookies at 350F for 12 minutes or until done
