Ingredients

• 2 3/4 cup flour
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 tsp. baking powder
• 1 cup soft butter
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1/2 tsp. almond extract

Directions

1. Mix flour, soda, and powder then set it aside
2. Beat butter and sugar until creamy
3. Beat in egg and vanilla
4. Beat in flour, mix gradually
5. Place dough balls on ungreased sheet (should be about 2 1/2 dozen balls)
6. Bake at 375F till golden, about 10 minutes
