Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter/shortening
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup warm milk
- 3 eggs
- 2 packages of yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water 110-115F
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 4-5 cups white flour
Directions
- Mix yeast, water, and sugar and let sit for 10 minutes to proof yeast
- Mix warm milk, butter, and eggs
- Add other liquids and dry ingredients
- Mix in 4 cups of flour
- Continue adding flour till dough recedes from bowl
- Knead dough
- Put dough in greased bowl and let rise till double
- Form dough into rolls and place on greased sheet/pan
- Let rise for 30 minutes
- Place in 350F oven for 20 minutes
